Fulham fan in Patriot Country

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a Fulham fan ever since Clint Dempsey came to the team. I really became passionate about Fulham after the relegation battle a few years back.

I am also a diehard fan for the New England Patriots. I actually just started a blog talking about both teams. Please feel free to check it out.

I always like a Pats fan; my bother in law used to play for them so I was a Pats fan for a while. But now that I live in Cleveland, I choose to either cheer or ignore the Browns. Currently I have chosen to ignore them.

What is your soccer background? Did you play? Have you always been a fan of the sport?

 

Welcome to the site! I'm sure you'll find us a pleasant bunch (most of the time). You're lucky to have many fellow Fulham fans in your area. I hope you enjoy your time spent here. And soon enough Pettyfog will roll around and hound you about updating where you live and other info and stuff.... just so you're prepared.

I did not play soccer. I really got into the game only a few years ago. I was a casual watcher of the Revolution. When I added FSC to my cable package I really started to watch the games.

I started to identify with Fulham starting with Clint Dempsey. I really got into the team during the relegation battle. I have been hooked on the game and the team ever since.

Like yourself I am also a Pat's fan, as well as Red Sox, Bruins, and BC (Football and Hockey). Are you also from the Boston area? I'm on the South Shore.

 

Welcome FulhamPatsFan. Being married to a die-hard Steelers fan, I've heard many a disparaging remark concerning your Pats. All my fellow Angel fans considered it a great year by finally beating the Bosox (after years of being the proverbial whipping boy). Well be sure to check out your blog.

Thanks for responding. I live in Southern Mass about 10 minutes from Gillette Stadium.

It is good to know there are other supports of Fulham and the Pats. If you get chance check out my blog about both teams. I am just starting it out but I plan to write pretty frequently.

I have much respect for a die hard Steeler fan. Those fans are very loyal and passionate. I am sure she has very bad things to say about the Pats.
I grew up being a fan of the 70's Steelers. I met Terry Bradshaw and many other Steelers at there hotel before a Pats game in 1970's. They couldn't have been nicer guys to meet as a kid.

I am one Pats fan that respects the Steelers. Unfortunately I don't think many Steelers fans respect the Pats. That is ok.
