    This is fantastic news. Roy clearly shows he knows what he's doing and when you get a manager like that instead of someone who caught fire in a bottle, it's imperative to keep him.

    Good job Al Fayed & FFC Management for tying up Roy.

    I had the impression, from something he'd said when he came in, that Roy was looking at this as a retirement gig. That he'd be content to stay as long as we'd have him. So while this doesn't come as a surprise to me, it does come as a relief with all of the success he's brought to the club in his short time with us.

    I've said it before, but if he stays on and finishes his career here, there will be a statue of the man outside Craven Cottage at some point.

    Just to note something: he hasn't actually SIGNED anything yet. Those quotes were from the post-match interview. He INTENDS to sign, but there are still a few details to work out yet.
