And Dempsey is listed as doubtful for Monday on PhysioRoom.com.

A little coy from Roy about Clint. He only mentioned Simon and Dikagoi (due to suspension) as not being able to go.

Never has a title of a thread been so accurate. Hull is (cue the Charles Barkley voice...) terrible, and that is putting it kindly. That was the most negative performance I've seen at the Cottage in a 6 years (they were time killing 15 minutes in to go for the nil-nil result).

The Good; Bobby and Dio combo up front. DD kick started the attack in the first half. Baird was very solid, and there wasn't a bad performance from anyone in white.

The Bad; Hull Shitty, we joked that they were playing a 0-1-9 formation in the chat room. Jozy played 15 minutes or so and put in their best shot (only shot?).

The Ugly; The captain picking up an injury. The way he was limping, it's very doubtful he'll be a go for Roma.

All in all a very important 3 points in the bag.

Duff was pretty damn good. He's finding his form and this couldn't have come at a better time as we face a very tough next 3 games.

Zamora had a good game. I can't believe I'm saying that, but he was good at bringing people into play and the 1st goal was set up by him and finished by him. He laid the ball off to Duff and then brilliantly controlled his header to score. Then he sets up aa goal! Good stuff.

Kamara was pretty mediocre. Had some good play out there, but not much. Still think he could do well for us if he continually starts.

The performance that was pretty crap was Dempsey's. It's a good thing Harkes wasn't calling the game as he might've run out onto the pitch to tell Dempsey how shit he was. I have no clue what his problem is, but he's going to lose his starting place to Gera if he doesn't radically pick up his play.

Good result against a really shit team. They are battling Portsmouth for worst team in the league.

I didn't think Dempsey was bad.

I thought both Kamara and Zamora had decent games. Nice "welcome back" by Kamara on Bullard.

Baird in the central midfield. Eh. Wasn't horrible, but it didn't do much for me.

    Hull City is bad.

Looks like they had a special "fulham" and "130 Years" below the badge on the front of the kit today in honor of the 130 year anniversary (the 130 Years is tough to see as it is in a silver color).

Other than being wasteful in front of goal, I thought Dempsey looked solid. But, he does need to start putting his chances away - the commentators mentioned he hasn't scored in 15 league matches, and that hurts a squad like Fulham that rely on their midfielders to pick up the scoring slack.

Baird was a machine today and I like him as an option at DM - he showed some unexpected quickness and decisiveness in defense that were quality.

Today was probably the best match I've seen Zamora play in a Fulham shirt.

This game was sooooooooooo boring for I actually fell asleep in the second half and missed the second goal.

I cant remember seeing such a terrible away side come for a point and not do anything about it at 1-0 down, Hull never once attacked with any chance of ever scoring a goal.

3 points is what this was all about and thankfully Fulham took them, Nice to actually see Zamora have a decent game for a change but then again it was against a boring side with no passion to win a game.

Lets hope this is a game that they learn from and move up the table.

I second that Dempsey played OK, except for that header on goal that should have found twine. I was also really impressed by Duff, don't think I would want him around all the time, but he is a handful on the wings. Glad to see he doesn't sufer from Toon disease any more.

M-I-N, I think Schwarzer almost fell asleep too -- he should have been charged admission. That Jozy shot wasn't too troublesome.

The best game Zamora played for us also ended 2-0, only it was ManYoo on the short end. This is up there though.

I guess I have to apologize for every Baird thought I had under the Sanchez era -- who is a better DM? Him, Etuhu? Dikchagoi? Woy? Are you soliciting my advice? OK, I'll shut up now.

That Hull team looked as bad as the Tennessee Titans this weekend. If all they were going to do was turtle up, why did they even make the trip. Go to the CCC already, the less of you the better. I hope that even Portsmouth beats them (their next game).

Also, the shirts looked damn good today! Way to commemorate history.

That win was so satisfying. I hate most everything about Hull and it was so nice to take three points off of them.

First half was awful, second half was much much better. Well done to the team and particularly to Baird, Duff, Zamora and Kamara.

I was HOPING that nobody would mention the Tennessee Titans but of course theres always someone (Thanks Steve) that wants to rub it in, I hope you all understand how depressing it is for me supporting Fulham AND The TN Titans.....lol

On a good note at least the TN Titans get First draft pick next year?

Also I just heard on the BBC that when Hull play Portsmouth next the FA said they will allow THREE Days for someone to score then they will declare the draw.

Your team loses 59-0 and no one is supposed to notice?

Hull is still worse at football than the Titans are at, erm, football -- you get my point.

Baird's match wasn't pretty, but a good holding midfield performance rarely is. Great job filling in.

No complaints about Zamora today. More hard work, good holdup play, and rewarded with a goal.

Nice to get a win here with a tough run of matches coming up - Roma, at Man City, Liverpool, at Roma, before we get back to some weaker teams with Wigan and Birmingham City.

For what it's worth, I think it's a little harsh to make too much of the league form to this point - the Wolves match sucked, yes, but it's way too soon to start worrying.

Martin, you need to find yourself a different tune. Zamora was solid against Arsenal in his last match -- it wasn't Zamora's fault that the Fat Italian Kid cost us two goals by AJ and one by him. Would you call Arsenal "a boring club with no passion towin a game?"

Everybody knows you don't like Zamora, and we'll probably continue to know it if you don't tell us EVERY TIME you post.

BTW, Mike, what were the Bullard songs? Couldn't pick them out on ESPN.

Speaking of which, I thought ESPN's coverage was fine, liked the halftime commentary (COLEMAN!) and loved coverage in HD, but was disappointed that they cut out during pregame and didn't show the starting lineups.

Nice result as you have to win the ugly matches.

As for the jersey, I would think they would have tweaked a little more to spur on those that might have already bought this year's home kit but for someone like me who hadn't bought the home kit, I might go for this kit.

Solid win and it was nice to watch a Fulham match in hd. We owned possession and....there go the flying pigs and ice in Hell, but Zamora was MOM for me. He had 3 good chances and converted one. He was good in possession, especially in the 2nd half. He setup alot of our chances and his hustle was fantastic. That's two solid performances on the bounce. Keep it up Bob, and they'll keep singing for you. Thought the fans' support was good for BZ.

I liked the Joe/BZ pairing. Kamara is a wild card, but they both set each other up with good chances and were more dangerous together than Zamora and AJ usually are. And that was against a team that, while terrible, was parking the bus. Think Joe endeared himself to the Cottage faithful with his roughing up Rocky Dennis? Worked for me.

Duff had a nice match and sparked a good bit of offense. I thought Baird turned in the best CDM performance we've had this season. Didn't think anyone had a bad game although PK did have the one gaff that lead to a corner. I was really concerned they'd nick one on us against the run of play there, but it was for naught.

Mike, don't know if anyone from the club sees that ESPN feed, but our roof is shite and needs some help. I'd be embarassed to have that on my barn (well, if I still had a barn, but I digress).

Kudos to Hull for giving us an early Halloween by bringing a pumpkin to manage the club. Unfortunately for Hull, pumpkins usually attack more than they did. I almost felt bad for Vinegar & Oil Hessian Link, if not for the badge on his shirt. Hard luck for Jozy having to try and win 50/50 balls with Hangeland. Brede dominated him.

And while off topic, as a former Houston Oiler fan, the Titans are Spam, Newcastle & Hull rolled into one for me. It's bad enough they took our team but it's an insult to see them wear the derrick. Even moreso when they put up such a crap performance while doing so. I hope they get relegated (yeah, I know).

Really enjoyed the Monday Night Football, Brit style. I'd like to see more of that with ESPN carrying the matches in HD. Of course that's made all the better when it features a Fulham win.
