'At Least We Have Our Health'

It's the season where this will become an unfortunate cliche in many local news articles:
Winter heating and Christmas seasons always bring unfortunate cases of home fires resulting in loss of everything accumulated in the residents' lifetime.
The victims typically wax philosophical, though, and reflect what we all know is true at heart.
The exception of course is the late night fire resulting in deaths as happened last week to my wife's aunt and cousin. Her elderly aunt died and her cousin is not expected to survive critical lung damage. But families grieve for the lost and then carry on, such is human nature.

After all, what more can you ask for.. than the chance to carry on and attend to your own health and wealth, by making your own decisions on them.

Something to remember, as the efforts to limit those choices proceed apace.
