Well since my wife and daughter are back in the states, I thought I would make this a football weekend (went to the Villa v Fulham match on Sunday). I traveled about 15 miles to the Wycombe Wanderers v. Bristol Rovers game on Saturday. My first experience at a CC League 1 game. Enjoyable day, great weather. 15 pounds to get in. The football was a bit underwhelming, but there were actually 3 quality goals. Wycombe won 2-1. Stood in the terraces with the Wycombe fans. Joleon Lescott's brother (Arron) plays with the Rovers. they had some interesting and somewhat cruel chants for him (some to do with his looks and others related to his big bro being in the premier league).
