I saw that he was taking some notes on the first show, but it was evident in this one. He does say that no one knows what they are talking about. Funny! I feel good b/c I said that Borny's gaff was remiscent of Boca's against Ghana then I heard Wynalda say it on FFF in the opening segment. I feel like I have some validity now. Phew! Yeah right! But it is always nice to hear someone agree with you especially on television.

I watched again last night, and it's turned into the Eric Wynaldo Show. I never liked Waldo that much in the first place. I won't be watching any more.

OK, tell me you don't post here...

Some maroon on last night's show called in on who would be relegated. He said P'mouth, Hull & "Fulham". And this came from someone who said they were a Fulham "fan". His argument was, "oh they don't have the money to compete", blah, blah, blah...

SHUT UP! OK, I am a realist and we are not Top 4. But come on, relegated? Go follow the flip'n Scum or ManUre!! :x

SIGH... OK, I feel better. 8)

    That was me....

Just kidding. I think the guy was from the mid-west.

I thought it was interesting as well. It is so early! This time last year everyone was saying Spurs were going down.

After all these years of staying up and grinding out results - how can anyone be so bold as to write Fulham off.

Maybe he just started following Fulham...

The first guy was from Minnesota. And oddly enough, was followed by another Fulham caller (I believe, from Texas). Both were concerned about scoring, but the latter didn't seem to think we'd be relegated.

Webster found the idea of Fulham under Hodgson being relegated laughable. Wynalda said he rooted for Fulham to do well b/c of the American connections.

I can't remember the last time I heard a caller mention Fulham on that show, much less back to back. Moon musta been full.

Temeryss (or however you spell it) sounds like she's barely literate. Her reading emails is rivaled by 1st graders phonetically reading Dick & Jane.

I really am not feeling the new show. That girl reads like some of my students, who have the excuse that they are in the 6th grade. It seems like something that stalled the old show, namely that it was really a radio show with the added advantage of seeing tweo guys in a studio not doing all that much. I am one who still likes Wynalda, if for no other reason than making Rome's asshole tighten like and loudmouth confronted with consequences. (And those responsible for this get a thank you from me!) Some don't but I think he has stones and am happy to listen to him in small doses, but this show is not a winner.

I stopped watching after episode 3.

I didn't mind Temerys(sp?) too much, despite her reading. She is at least a former pro-player (Swedish league) so she's not JUST a pretty face.

My problem was Waldo and how he treated the callers. He never tried to create a good dialogue but just stuck with "you don't know what you're talking about and I do" - which doesn't make for good talk, on either TV or radio.

    They're currently playing FIFA 10.

Not only is this show officially a joke, but its also officially a giant ad.

Was this show ever really any good? Even when it first started years ago, It was pretty crap. Nick and Steven were pretty crap when it came to talking about shit other than they're favorite teams and it turned into a bunch of jokes about the others favorite team. I didn't watch it much the last 2 years, but I can't imagine it got any better.

The chick who reads e-mails is pathetic. They only brought her on because she's pretty hot. There can't be any other reason. Honestly, I have never heard another person read so horrible out loud. I can understand if the person is reading fast and jumbles a word or 2, but she reads slow and still fucks it up. How did she get the job?

I will give her this - She has gotten quite a bit better over the last few weeks.

She stumbles a lot less, and she has stopped with her post read shimmy. If you watch the show you know what I am talking about - up to the last couple of weeks she would finish a question or whatever she is supposed to say and she would do this little shimmy and then give the camera this, "Ta DAAAaaaa..." look.

That was the most annoying thing for me, but she has stopped doing it - so she hasnt been bothering me so much.

I was interested in last night's show because they had Garber on. I had high hopes for the interview, and they did ask him a few questions I cared about, but like a political debate - nothing was ever nailed down... And really - I probably shouldnt have expected anything more than that.

I will say this - before Eric - the show was a little more technical and both Steven and Webby seemed to have done their homework a bit more. Eric obviously likes to just 'wing' it.

or, to put it another way, Eric doesn't respect his employer or his audience enough to prepare.

    May be right.

Knowing a lot of 'heady' forwards - he probably thinks he knows so much that prep isnt necessary.

Not a game, not a game, but we're talkin' 'bout practice. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last...we're talkin' 'bout practice.

Brilliant stuff, Jensers, one of the best sports quotes ever - right next to his own mother's 'did Tawana tell you that?' quote.

After months of skipping this show, I thought I'd tune in to see what they had to say about the Fulham Europa win. Wynalda had on a Deuce shirt but absolutely no mention was made of one of the biggest goals scored by an American...ever.

I guess it's possible there's some sort of copyright issue since Fox doesn't have the Europa League coverage, but they had the highlights on FSR. So either those two are bigger muppets than I'd given them credit for or their hands were tied. The show doesn't appear to be any better than before. Unless you like talking about how ManU will do in Champions League and how Jose Mourinho is a genius for over an hour followed by some MLS coverage.

The idea of 'copyright' prohibiting a take would be puzzling. Seems to me that's 'Fair Use' .... and both Networks point out upcoming matches on the other.

I'd been watching the show off and on since the beginning of the season, but always tuned in after a big Fulham win. Last night, I saw the Duece shirt and had high hopes, I even sent in a couple of text messages. But....nothing. It's nothing but "all big 4, all the time" at Fox. Thanks for nothing, Eric!

The problem is - most of the people that watch only care about the top 4... Actually - all they care about is whomever is at the top of the table because they just want to be on the bandwagon.

I think they probably just forgot about it with everything else going on. Send an email to tell em.

I will say that I never really watched the show until Wynalda is on it. Anytime I flip by and it is on, I end up watching it as Wynalda starts to say something or he says something he probably should not have.

The man has no filter. Which makes for interesting TV.

The show ended with some caller starting to say that they needed to "put that hot girl in the corner to replace that fat piece of" before he was cut off.

I understand people's frustrations with lack of Fulham, but as someone above said, most of the calls are basically people calling in about Arsenal or Chelsea.

Which reminds me of a couple weekends ago when some guy from no-where, USA with a southern draw called in and started talking about Arsenal and was using a lot of "we" in his sentences (i.e. "We have a couple tough games left") and Wynalda started to dog him about it before stopping himself as he knew he was going to get himself in trouble.
