Never quite found out why Roy never favored him over the likes of Gray and other players supposed to play on the left wing but never did.

He seemed a good lad, and hopefully things turn up for him in Turkey.

I suspect his defending (or lack thereof) is what did him in.

Except for this one goal (which was great), I thought he was consistently terrible.

You misread . . we paid Watford 4 million when he came to us initially. ;) We got robbed, haha.

Good luck in Turkey, Hammer. I will fondly remember that one really awesome goal and the bizarre shape of your head.

Or passing like an Edsel under Sanchez. Admittedly he had company.

Best of luck to him in Turkey.

My favorite memory of Bouazza isn't match-related, but instead the cartoon rendition by ormondroyd that continually loses his left arm.

I like Bouazza. I think people are right to say his defending was lacking. He wasn't preferred in the same vain that Bullard wasn't preferred in some ways. Too independent minded, and less tactically astute.

I think he's got skill and wish him the best. Sivasspor are the Turkish champions and he'll get some Champions League play it looks like.

do we have to give back the signed jersey and 200 cartons of cigarettes they paid to get him in the first place?
