Tom Delay to Dancing with the Stars?

DeLay spokeswoman Shannon Flaherty was already reminding DeLay’s supporters via email that “this is a fun new challenge, not a political crusade, but we’ll still need to enlist all the help we can get to whip up the vote.”

She revealed that DeLay — who remains under indictment in Texas — will meet with his dance partner and begin rehearsals Tuesday, and that he has been working out with a personal trainer to get in shape for the show. She also noted that he has known about the project for “months” and is “incredibly excited.”

Brave Dem Rep holds Town-Hall to listen to concerned constituents!

In a release sent exactly 24 hours before the town hall meeting, the freshman Democrat's office says Grayson "intends for and expects this event to be a respectful and productive session."

Grayson says he wants to "discuss the need for health care reform, listen to concerns or answer questions from the constituents he serves, and debunk many myths being circulated."

The meeting will be at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 606 Union Hall at 820 Virginia Drive.

A union member tells WDBO it is not involved in the town hall meeting, but will have 4 members manning the microphones. The member says Grayson contacted them about reserving the facility.

It will likely be very difficult to get a seat: The hall has a capacity of 125 people, and Grayson's meeting comes immediately following a meeting of the Orange County Democratic Party Executive Committee, also at the IBEW hall. The OCDEC meeting starts at 7 p.m.
