Politico.com has a nice visually accessible chart with cool "hover over" graphics. They also show information for Senate, House, and Gubenatorial races along with intiatives.

The last time I checked Florida still hasn't been called even though 100% of the vote is in, so I guess they're doing a recount. Good thing their electoral votes don't matter. Certain parties don't like the idea of all Florida votes being counted.

    A couple of observations:

    1. In the Republican War Against Women, the women clearly won. The two limp-brained idiots with the Teahadist theories of rape were beaten, and all sorts of Democratic women won election. I believe NH's Washington delegation is all women.

    2. The "October surprise" was not provided by the Democrats or the Republicans, but by God. Hurricane Sandy showed that it is indeed a good thing to have a well-run FEMA when lives are at stake. I doubt if Romney's statement that it wasn't necessary played well. If it was close at all, I think that sealed it.

    3. It's time for the GOP to rid itself of its extremist element fed by the Koch Brothers and fueled by the empty heads on Fox Noise. It certainly must have dawned on them by now that the party is projecting the wrong image. If they continue to allow the GOP to get pulled farther away from the mainstream, they will continue to frighten the crap out of middle-of-the-road undecideds as they did yesterday.

    4. I am pleased that the worst-possible result didn't occur. That result would be a narrow victory by Obama in the Electoral College and a narrow victory by Romney in the popular vote. If that had happened, there would have been unrest in the streets so widespread and violent that it would make the Occupy Movement events look like a nation-wide Morris Dancing convention.

    5. My US Rep, State Rep and State Senator are still people I'm proud to cast a vote for, even though my US Rep is new -- Julian Castro's twin. Unfortunately our new US Senator is a corporate lawyer who practically lives in Washington and has made most of his money selling us to China. All he needed to win the nomination was to spout a few Tea Party cliches and the rest was history. Sorry to see him replace Kay Baily Hutchison, who I liked quite a lot.

I voted for Dina Titus and she won, which is good. Like I said, she's apparently a nice woman and is a progressive. This is a very safe district so I hope she can go to Washington and really fight hard for decent values and policy positions since she won't have to worry about being challenged from the right.

Berkley lost to Heller. She was my congresswoman, but I wasn't that excited about that and was turned off on watching her debate Heller. They were both clowns and neither of them belong in the Senate so I voted none of the candidates option.

Romney was never going to win Nevada. We have a large latino population and nobody wants to hear about self deporting. We also have a horrible housing crisis and he said that the market should hit the bottom. Not going to win a state like ours that is becoming more and more democratic. He could have challenged Obama from the left on immigration and housing issues, but that would be asking too much I guess.
