Last night I broke the nut. After realizing the 'stay-away' mojo wasnt working anymore, I couldnt stay away from Crew Stadium with a clear conscience.
In some ways, I wish I had but cant tie it to a superstition.

    - Crew won 2-1 against the no talent thugs from San Jose:
    Box Score

    Fouls Cards

    14 3 San Jose

    9 0 Crew

What's worse is Simon Elliot, who used to be a fair DM when he was with Crew and Fulham, felt it necessary to take out his better current / successor Brian Carroll for several weeks by bulldogging him and fallin on him. Dislocated shoulder and not even fould called. I'm hoping Crew finds tape and appeals it to the league. Elliot deserves a suspension.

Add to that Hejduk is injured AGAIN! Groin pull. We all know that injuries follow injury. This is due to compensation.

More bad news. Schelotto got GWG. He's tied for golden boot. This is not good because GBS is supposed to be the guy that sets up the goal.

So I'm glad the Crew won, but it was an ugly game, Crew showed much the best skills by far but their timings were off, score could easily have been 5-0 instead of close. Crew hung onto lead but it was as much due to incompetence and thuggery by SJ as anything else.

The highlights of my night were in why you watch soccer: Actually the n different ways Crew found to take away the ball and make SJ look stupid.

I counted 5 times in the first half that if we would have had someone running back post we would have scored open netters...

You forgot, "son's of a motherless goat" :D

The Crew could only score 2 off my USL-2 team?
They might want to look again at their starting lineup. 8)
