Good News - Boussard Fusion funded!!!

Follow the links.. in about 2 years a useable sustained reaction pilot reactor.

    Bad News.. click same link.
    Examples from 'benefits':
As hinted, all is not rosy. Even if they began to build productive power plants tomorrow!
Think of all the 'unintended consequence'.

Add to that the problem of location, and 'Environmental impact' of just BUILDING infrastructure, never mind fear of new technology.

And you will see that 'gettin' 'er dun' aint all that simple.

Looks like the Bussard Polywell story was wrong. Here's the re-write.

Meanwhile, guvmint fundedLivermore Labs is about to try their version. It more intellectual, ya know, cuz it has a hangar full of lasers and neat-o magnetic thingamabobs and if it works we'll have a working continuous fusion reactor in no more than fifty years!

Other big ticket fusion labs arent so lucky.

So tell me why the Polywell labs arent being funded?

Those two employ hundreds of engineers and scientists while at Polywell..
Given both concepts prove to work...
Guess which version which will get more funding and guess will ultimately prove more practical .
