FULHAM vs Everton: Last Game of the 08/09 Season

Never too early to talk about a BIG game.

Win or draw and we are in automatically in Europe. Enough said really.

One thing for sure, the Cottage will be rockin' and no matter what happens the fans will get a chance to thank the team and Roy for what they accomplished this season.

Getting into Europe isn't the be all end all, but it would be a the perfect ending for Fulham; the Premier League's Cinderella.

Win, lose or draw this game wont matter, Tottenham will get nothing at Liverpool my minds made up standby Europe the black and White army is coming.

Not sure wether I want Juventus or Barcelona first or the final

I will be there jacked up as much or more than before the Man U game. We should see if there are a few other FUSA folks that would like to get together before this one.

Mike, isn't Monday a Bank Holiday...could get a bit crazy.

Never one to be over confident, but a draw at a min to put us through to Europe with Tots away to Liverpool, I am feeling pretty good (but I will throw in a 'touch wood' anyway).

What I wouldn't give to be at that match. Mike and everyone else who will make it to the match, enjoy. A few pints and chips at the Golden Lion plus a Fulham match at Craven Cottage = a BOSS time.

I'm on cloud nine with the way the side and Roy have done this season. Finish out strong. COYW's

Well, more or less. Win and we're in, draw and we're in so long as Spurs don't win by 5 goals or more at Liverpool (which seems to be a safe assumption, but it's not "automatic").

Should be a good one. I really hope we get live TV coverage of this one.

All the matches are Sunday at the same kickoff time. FSC is already highlighting Hull City v. Man United for their "live" match, so we won't be getting coverage from there. I think the best we can hope for is a tape-delayed match.

Sunday morning? Crap. Looks like I gotta decide whether to not work the farmer's market or miss most of the match. I hate decisions like these...

Setanta is all TBC right now, so if we're lucky we'll get tape delay as you say Don.

This is going to be a tough match... Everton are quality right now and they will be wanting to use the match as an FA cup springboard.

I hope the boys come to play.

Europe or not, it's been a fantastic season! Roy has definitely turned things around and I'm sure they'll get the enormous ovation they deserve after the final whistle.
Here's hoping for Europa though!!! COYW!!!

For Fulham to miss out on Europe, Everton would have to do something they haven't done since 1966 - win at the Cottage.

AND Spurs have to win at Anfield. We're in good shape.

I almost booked this one to make it my first match at the Cottage about 6 wks ago and didn't go thru with it at the last second. That repeated thud you hear is me kicking myself in the ___. I will be going in the early Fall of this year though.

unless Everton do what Pompey did last year under the same circumstances. I don't think they'll be pushing their guys too hard -- especially those with a niggle or two -- with a big day out waiting at Wembley.

I think they'll play to win. I think Moyes will want to finish ahead of Villa so they get more $$$$. Don't you get more money based on where you finish? If that's the case, I think we'll see them try to win the match and the majority of their top players will play. Let's hope Roy marches out Diomansy again cuz he's on fire.
