USMNT in the Premier League?

For no apparent reason, Whitesboy's comments on the transfer thread regarding US players caused me to ponder where the USMNT would finish in the premier league over a season?

I couldn't see the USMNT beating any of the top 4, nor Aston Villa or Everton for that matter; however, I couldn't see WBA, 'Boro, Newcastle or Hull finishing higher than the USMNT. What would the result be if FFC played USMNT? Would Fulham's back 5 stifle the "vaunted" attack of the USMNT? How would Clint #8 play against Clint #23? Could EJ score against Fulham??? (obviously, too much time on my hands today...God bless the economy!!!!!)

My unquantifiable conclusion is anywhere between 7th and 16th.

Anybody else want to share their subjective thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the white Dempsey would kick the red, white, and blue Dempsey's butt.
