It doesnt matter whether the original source is right left or indifferent.. what amazes me is this sort of crackpot idea always seems to come from the left, while others like 'Gold Standard' comes from the other extreme.

Here's the point {From my thread on Crew OT forum}:
You know what amuses me.. this is a JOURNALIST, of the kind who often bash bloggers, until they are forced to become one.

You know what journalists are supposed to do, right? They are supposed to RESEARCH their ideas. Bloggers of course just 'pull shit out'a their asses'.

But this guy had an in-house expert to consult and he evidently didnt. I dont mean the guy behind the door that says 'VP/Director: IT', I mean the guy down in the server/network closet, responsible for firewalls and Trojan/worm blocking.

The computer geek would have said "Are you shitting me! Who is this?!!"

Of course there is always the possibility that this actually IS 'Research'.

And if that's the case it doesnt speak well of him as journalist, either.
