It's not a "must win" I don't suppose, in that there's no mortal fear of relegation if FFC don't take three points, but it's certainly starting to look like a "should win" for any club that has top-half aspirations.

Great news for us on Beattie -- without him Stoke is with Sunderland and Newcastle in the standings. I really like our chances.

Davies is out with a stress-fracture in his foot - probably done for the remainder of the season. That sucks.

Barnes and Kallio are both out as well.

Interesting note from the BBC: "Stoke won their last top-flight match at Craven Cottage 41 years ago. They beat Fulham 0-2 on 1 May 1968."

I would guess that means Gera gets a start.

Man, too bad about Davies. Same goes for Barnes. Davies absence could have been his opportunity. No doubt Gera will start, though I wouldn't mind seeing the JoeKa get some run out wide. The limited options certainly highlight what a thin squad the Whites really are.

Davies could probably use the rest. He is been very average in my opinion this year. Gera will probably score a goal in his place just to keep things interesting and I hope for his sake, to help his confidence.

I have had a "small' cyst on my back for years and I had it removed last week because the area around it become infected. No big deal except that when the doctor started removing the cyst it turned out to be not so small and she had to make a much larger incision than she had planned to remove most of it.

I had to wait for the ManU/Spurs(Damn I hate Man U but I like -3 goal diff) game to end before showing excitement for being in 7th place. Looking forward to next week at Chelsea. It feels good to be excited about the last month of the season and not worry about relegation.

Looking forward to somebody posting Nevland's goal.

Oh, yeah; there were about 15 folks who could have been yellow-carded for piling on poor ol' Gentleman Jim. How they [we?] scoffed at the profession of true love -- FOR SEVENTY BLEEDIN' MINUTES. As Old Bugger likes to say: "all in good fun."
