    Gorgeous stuff, Christian.

And a certain answer to those who thought that Blanco was unhappy about McBride being on the side. There's nothing that makes a playmaker happier than having a finisher on his side.

As for WC2010, not so much. McGod has hung up his USMNT uni.

One can always have their dreams. No offense to Beckham, but if he can, ours certainly could.

Beckham never voluntarily or officially retired from the USMNT. Our Captain did.

Yes, and we all know how permanent those retirements can be sometimes.

    1. Playing Target Striker is a far more physically demanding role than Right Middie.
    2. Brian is 3 years older than David Beckham.

    3. His ego is under control and doesn't feel the need to break any records.
    4. He's a man of his word. He says he's through, he's through.

I don't think 2010 is an option, but the USMNT has a glut of matches this summer and I'm just sayin'...

I'm tempted because I expected someone to have surpassed McBride as a target man by now and dont think anyone has. However, Bradley's been going with what will get us qualified so the new talent hasnt been getting much experience. If we qualify (no jinxes originating from me), then we need to use that "glut of matches" to help bring along a McBride alternative. The truth is hard sometimes. I'd love to see McBride in the RW&B again, especially after the disappointment in the olympics, but right now it should not be in the USMNT plans.
    :3d crying:

Thanks for posting he goal, Christian
