Same here - We are in for an exciting finish between us and West Ham. The only difference in schedule between the two of us is they play Liverpool and we play Newcastle. Every game will be trying to compete better than than they did/will! Another possible year end run to glory, only this time not so tense....

Fulham continue to impress and produce fine attacking play. Roy is the man.

Time for a bigger stadium - this could be the start of something.

Someone said this at Southampton circa 2000 -- we should be careful what we wish for!

Watched the match on DVR late last night - can we play @ Man City more often? It seems that FFC plays with such confidence and comfort in that stadium. That's three comeback wins now @ City...

I was critical of him early this season, but Etuhu has won me over - a sublime finish and very strong overall performance. Deuce was fantastic, could have had a hat trick. City looked tired from UEFA, but we seemed to beat the will out of them as well.

Question: if FFC finishes 7th and gets a UEFA bid that way, is it a better "seed" than if they had to rely on the Fair Play bid? Either way, it seems Europe is happening. Time to get some depth, Roy, next year will be a haul, and we will sneak up on no one.

DawgtheDon - please keep us informed as to your exciting developments! Keep the good news flowing!

Yes. The three Fair Play qualifiers enter the Europa League in the First Qualifying Round, which is played July 2nd and 9th. The last English club to qualify based on league position (are we certain that will be 7th rather than 6th?) will enter in the Third Qualifying Round, which is played July 30th and August 6th.

It should be noted that even if Fulham do win the Premier League Fair Play table (which looks like a pretty decent bet at this point), England would still need to be selected as one of the three countries to receive a Fair Play bid in order for Fulham to potentially get that bid; here's an article on this topic from the UEFA website and a PDF of the current national rankings from UEFA. In other words, we need Fulham to behave, but we need everyone else to behave too.

Cool, that's a big difference to enter the Third Round (7th place) than the First Round (Fair Play). That's almost another whole month to prepare as well. It is almost assured at this point that 7th place in the EPL gets a UEFA spot due to England's superior coefficient. If Fulham gets 7th place, the Fair Play bid would fall to... Spurs (if the season ended today).

PS - Apparently the UEFA Cup is to be soon rebranded as the UEFA Europa League...

There's something about stadiums, crowds, emotions, performances that television just cannot cover.

What a match. I'll never forget it.

    (And write more later...)

Yet another creative dreamer's dream dashed by the male misanthropy of a jealous wife.

You find the diamond in the rough, Don.
