The '90% of guns..' lie

The current admin is fond of saying we have to 'cut off' the supply of US guns to Mexico.. "90% are traceable to US." is what you hear.

Gee.. wonder WHY the admin would try to make it look like all those were coming from US, when anyone using common sense would know it's far easier to smuggle in weapons through other portals? Including Mexican Army deserters.

Yeah... except when Dubya finally forgot about the 'Powell Doctrine" and got his act together, Iraq showed who Al Qaeda really was and how they could be managed and defeated... rather than just bending over and dropping drawers, like Spain.
