NYC: Fulham @ Swansea - 2/14, 7:30am

Yeah, I know, it's awfully early on a Saturday. But the FA Cup! Trip to the quarterfinal on the line! Opponent Fulham haven't played since 1997! Let's open up Nevada's with a good showing. Who's in?

 

It HAS been a long time since we could all get together. I'm tempted, but man...that's really early. I'll check in with an official "yea" or "nay" later in the week.

 

I'll try to be there -- it's been 10 years since my epiphany after watching FFC lose to MU in the FA Cup 1-0. Any team that made a pub full of MU fans cry (after MU WON!) was the team for me!

Lets put it this way . . if everything goes right on Friday night, I absolutely won't be there. Fair enough?

 

With the Devils playing the night before; mark me as a "maybe." It's contingent on whether I'll be awake and functioning enough to get to the train station at...6 something.

And if I do, I'll be somewhat late as the train would then arrive in NY at 7:35.

 

Unfortunately, I now have to work Saturday, so I won't be there. Bummer.

 

Despite the poor showing by the team, I'm glad I changed my mind, sucked it up and made it out there before work. It had been too long...
