Fulham FC mobile phone app

Fulham has released an Android app and the iPhone app is in the approval process and on the way. (Android apps have a shorter approval period.)

The best news is that finally those of us away from our computers will get to hear Gentleman Jim.

(In related news, starting this season we can get match commentary of all Premier League matches from www.talksport.co.uk.

 

Looking forward to that. If I am on the road I just grab GJ off the media page.

 

Should be good. Now, if I could just join the rest of my family in obtaining an iphone....

 

Sweet- another app to absolutely obliterate the abysmal battery life of my two year old Droid- but in all seriousness, just DL'ed it, it looks really cool and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun playing with it.

Just ordered my 5 today, can't wait to get it. I never get things when they first come out, but it's been 3 eyars since i got mt iPhone 3GS. So I figured it was time.

 

The iPhone app is out and it is really good. Very professional looking.

Gentleman Jim's game broadcast came through strong on Saturday (although since it was live on FSC, I did not listen to it much. It was a few seconds behind the game broadcast on DirecTV.

The results and fixtures layout is good. The player writeups are well-done too. You can buy tickets and stuff from the team store (going out of the app to Safari, since if it was in the app, Apple would get 30%).

 

Thanks for the heads up Dave, didn't realize it came out. They announced the app for the droid on their FB page and said the iPhone one was coming soon. But I didn't see an official annoucement that it was now out. Come to think of it I donlt think I saw any match updates this past weekend on my FB page, might have to check my settings.

 

Where the heck have I been!? Just downloaded the iphone version. App looks great!!
