    This is great news! Hopefully by 2010 I will be ready to upgrade my DirectTV subscription to HD.

    "by the end of 2010?" That's two full seasons from now. I'll be lucky to have any teeth left by then, never mind any brain cells.

    Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if ESPN has exclusive rights to the Premier League by then.

    Question is, is that Good or Bad?

    ESPN doesn't do it for me much anymore. I don't watch any of there channels much at all, and their web-site makes my heads spin. I'm thinking bad.

    As to the time involved, remember we know FSC is run on a shoestring and ALL the equipment must be replaced. Couple that with their problems with losing cable carriers.
