Hi I live in Ponte Vedra, Fl (between Jacksonville and St Augustine) and somehow became a soccer fan and somehow chose Fulham as my team (I was intrigued by Craven Cottage).

I follow the team through the Fox Soccer channel and the Fulham site.

At some point, though I am on a retirement income, I'd like to get over to London and see a game at the Cottage...

I would welcome any tips regarding, places to say, best airport to come into, getting tickets, etc...any tips would be helpful.

    Thanks

    Hi Rich.
Its pretty easy to get tickets, go to the FFC website you buy the tickets there. It will tell you when each game comes on sale. As for Airport, Heathrow is probably the best, you may even fly over the cottage on the approach to Heathrow. As for places to stay, I cannot help you as I always stay with my brother in London (sadly a Chelsea season ticket holder, although that means I will get to see the Chelsea v Fulham game with him in May). Thee are some good pubs in Putney high street for a pre-game pint. I hope this is some help. I hope you enjoy it, I am sure you will.

Also, don't forget to pm AmericanMike [the Godfather] to see if he can help hook you up with tours, etc.

If you want/need a hotel that is close to the ground, you can't get much close than the Premier Travel Inn - Putney Bridge.

Tickets are slowly being harder to come by since we have been moving our way in the top half of the table so it all depends on what match you are going to come over for.
