    Three cheers for Maryland!

My Broncos haven't won the tournament in a few, so I am glad your team did.

I was pretty big news here in the DC area--regular announcements on the sports segment on the all-news station WTOP (where the morning sportscaster, Dave Johnson, is a Fulham fan), and an article in the Post from Steve Goff, whom the Post sent to Texas to cover the matches.

Congrats to the Terps. They've done a good job building their men's program. Seems to be a bigger priority for the ACC & Big10 then the other conferences.

    B12 only focuses on the women's game. A&M doesn't even field a men's team.

Wow, Matt. I'm stunned. Considering that A&M used to be an all male school, that's a little surprising. Guess it's all that "soccer is French and sissy" stuff.

Having said that, the A&M woman's team over the last two or three seasons has been one of the Big12's best and certainly one of the hottest!

    Woof!

The ACC was obviously the dominant conference w/3 of the final 4 teams (Wake Forest was the #1 seed). The goal that put the Terps in the final was on ESPN top 10 plays (a laser beam free kick that was a thing of beauty). Congrats to the National Champs.
