RH will always be in Fulham folklore because of last years end of season heroics, but my fear for him is that he as lost all sense of reality, having watched, supported, cheered and cried for Fulham, this Fulham fan as been through it all, but my sense of reality as not left me.

Reading his comments on the UK website about Sundays game, left me wondering was the game we watched in the US the same one that was being played at Fratton park, or did we get a repeat, or was my tv in another dimension, because the game that was on my TV the team in white were awful.

We should have lost last week, we should have lost this week, we were lucky last week and again yesterday, surely its time for Clint D and Nevland to get a run in the team, the guys who have been playing for the past few weeks have surely had their chance, we had not scored from open play for four games, but worse than that we have not created hardly any worthwhile highlights.

The job of the manager is to play the best team available and the right balance, and for me RH is not doing that right now, Dempsey is hungry, he is still young enough to want to make a name for himself, dont just put him in the team play him where he does the most damage, and thats behind the front pair.

We had a decent start to the season, with the games we had we should have already been looking at 15 or so points, but alas we all already know that we are in for another long season of relegation woes, but here we are on weds playing a team at the cottage who we can beat, a team we really must beat, the team of the last few weeks quite frankly will not beat, so give the real fans a treat RH put a team out there that is trying to win, and not snatch a late winner, play Dempsey behind the front two and give him freedom to roam, drop DM, put Gera on the left, Nevland on the right and tell JB to stay in the middle, we have nothing to lose, because the way we have been playing as been boring.

AJ, I agree with what you wrote, but don't worry about Roy and his coach speak. RH knows better than anyone that they've been lucky to get a couple of points the last 2 matches. However, one of the Ten Commandments of Coaching (regardless of the sport)...Team going great; kick them in the butt, Team struggling; pat them on the back and be eternally optimistic.

AJ I completely agree - thanks for the post. Roy is just being a politician because this is now the team that he brought in. Unfortunately, I fear his gifts as a coach are in the area of making do with what you are given rather than building a dream team. I actually miss last year.
