Lineups? Thoughts? Predictions? Stock tips? Lotto numbers?

Frankly, I hope for a draw, and at least we should get the good juju started today. The same lineup from last weekend will not get a point away against Pompey.

Maybe the boys can conjure last May's spirit this weekend...they need to. Because, after all, beautiful football which equates to losses, still equals ZERO points. We need a point, at least.

Pompey are strangely vulnerable at home and kick-ass away. I think there's a point available.

Screw that. We keep a clean sheet again and score one.

Don, that's the spirit we need! Unfortunately, I'll be on the golf course, but will be checking in.

Okay, so the Brits do turn their clocks back this weekend (1 a.m. on Sunday). So the match is at 1pm EST. Per Setanta's website:

12:55 pm LIVE Barclays Premier League - Portsmouth vs Fulham

Which means I wont miss the match. Yay!!

I'm on the Donwagon. I say however 2-1 Whites with AJ getting off the mark with a double.

Braga [I still lust after you, Sonia] kicked Pompey's ass this evening 3-0 in the UEFA Cup. They used their first choice lineup. Perhaps they'll be a bit tired [but not too angry] come Sunday.

It's late Thursday and we aren't at page 2 of the thread yet

OK I'm calling it -- the drought from open play ends this week. F5 scores at least one and someone else scores a second. Pompey has surrendered 8 goals in 6 league games -- of course, one of those games was a 6-0 loss to City which skews the statistics a lot. And a 3-0 whuppin' today. I like our chances. Their backline is there to be had. Fulham brings at least a point home from the seamen.

I'd like to see Woy shake a few thing up this week in the midfield. Keep the backline as they are.

    ------------------------Schwartzer
    -----Paintsil ------Hughes-----Hangeland-----PK
    ---Davies------ Murphy-------Nevland---Deuce
    ------------------Zamora------F5

Zuber, Andreasen, Kallio, Bully, Gera, Seol, Stoor

Since Woy and I are tight and he takes my advice over anyone else, no, I'm not saying away with Bully for good, he just hasn't got it done the last few weeks and I don't want to see him put another free kick right into a wall again.

At this moment I agree with Steve, but will tweak his lineup to a 4-3-3.

    Paintsil - Hughes - Hangman - PK
    Davies - Murphy - Deuce
    Nevland - BZ - AJ

If $hit goes south early, move to a 4-4-2 with Bullard and Andreasen on.

I'm confused by the above posts as in what the hell is ambiguous about this post: "Setanta is showing the match live at 10am PST."??? Time, Live, Channel, they're all there.

"English, mother#$cker, do you speak it?"

Score a goal early, breathe a huge sigh of relief and progress from there. The midfield which is supposed to be our strength needs to show up DAMMIT and play the the quality vets they are and give AJ and Bobby some service.

What does it say about me that it's 0620 on Friday morning and the Ws have turned my inside into puree'd slop already.

Probably as much as it says about the Ws, come to think of it.
