Somebody is notably missing from the roster.

***FIFA World Cup Qualifying game against Cuba on Oct. 11 in Washington, D.C. Kickoff for the USA’s first match in the nation’s capital in four years is set for 7 p.m. ET, and the match will be shown live on ESPN Classic and Galavision.

 

I assume you are noting that Cardiff's finest won't have to cross the big pond for that matchup. FWIW the readers of Steve Goff's Soccer Insdider blog on washingtonpost.com won't be missing him at RFK.

Also, how do you get tickets in the loud section? If this is even possible, I'm not sure. Obviously there is some place all the USA chants come from.

I have a wedding to attend otherwise I'd be there. Bad bad timing - I hope this doesnt put a curse on their marriage or anything like that. I cant wait to see the boys in RW&B play in person again. Silas. Go through Sam's Army or American Outlaws for tickets in the "loud" section. We're sitting "next to" the loud section; i.e., close enough to feel the atmosphere, but far enough that neither 1) my son's ears will burn nor 2) we'll get drenched with thrown beer.

How many defections will the Cuban team have on this trip? I'm guessing two. I'm also figuring a 3 goal win by the US.
