I hate to admit that my better (not really) half is a fan of the blue-poo but cutting to the chase, they have set up a nice little international membership for overseas supporters. Including online mag, ticketing access, members box with goodies, etc.

With that said, if Fulham were to set one up, what would you want from it? Would you get it?

Bocacrumbs; I feel your blue-poo pain, my 14 year old daughter went to London this summer and brought me back a Chelski coffee mug (she had no idea). Have to imagine Scum-FFC matches are fun around your house.

As far int'l membership goes I guess it would depend on what the "goodies" (a decent coffe mug perhaps  ) were and at what cost.

To be honest, I'd like a digital version of Fultime. That would be cool.

Maybe a membership card, schedule, season in review booklet/dvd, etc. Access to tickets (for when I actually go!)...not sure what the cost would/could be.

I see currently FFC have a membership at 37.50 pounds that includes Fultime. Hmm....

Now there is an idea. Assuming it is compressed so not a huge file I would get on board with it.

I agree. I would love to have gotten my hands on the Great Escape DVD, but it was not available to me, and even if it was, it presumably would have been the wrong region format.

I would be interested in a package that incuded gentlemen Jim broadcasts, programs, season highlight DVDs, etc. Would probably be quite pricey though

Yeah, if we could find some solution that doesn't come with an astronomical pricetag I'd be interested.

There is software to rip dvd's and get around region. Obviously you have to have a DVD reader in the PC.

There are a couple of other options:

    1. You can purchase a multi-region DVD player with a multi-region TV. This is an expensive, but long-term solution. (i.e., as encoding gets better, the software conversions may not work).

    2. You can buy a second DVD drive for your computer. Which Region is a simple setting and, while you can only change regions on a DVD drive five times, by having a 2nd drive only used for European stuff, you'll be ok, for the life of that computer.

All of this is moot since the DVD is not available to me...

On the back of this thread, is there anything else that would be/should be of interesting to Fulham's international supporter base? Now is the time to air your views.

Are you asking as a website patriarch or as an employee of the club?

I love it when he does that.

By the way, perhaps I missed it, what is your employee position with THE CLUB??

    If I may ask.

Perhaps if there's plans for the club/league to offer streaming video of live games (and why not? other leagues and other sports are getting into this), perhaps a discount for fan club members abroad?

A digital version of fultime would be good too. Would their be enough interest/fans from non-English speaking countries to offer game commentary in other languages?
Well, of course, he did so well in that fan league, right?

The entire membership programme is being revamped for next season and a specific offering will be tailored to Fulham's wonderful, dedicated and intelligent overseas fans because, as a whole, nothing has been done for them in the past and it is the right thing to do. Obviously this is something personally close to me.

I'd like to set up a chat forum to discuss the things that we are planning on offering and I'd like to hear directly from the you guys for you to suggest ideas, thoughts, concerns etc. I'd like to do it in the next week.

If you are interesting in being involved, could you email me and include your FUSA Username.
