Obama Lead Slip - Why?

Today dovetailing answers from two disparate sources:

First, the FACTS:

Then, the REASON WHY older white women in Florida go for McCain, not Obama. Read down to the bottom of the post, to start...You'll not find a clearer statement on it.

 

"Barack Obama is every older woman's nightmare -- the slick talking, good looking, totally unqualified man who waltzes in and gets the big job instead of the woman who thought she would get it by sheer force of dogged hard work and experience."

I'd buy this logic if Hillary actually had the amount of experience they're talking about. If these voters cared most about experience they'd have been supporting McCain all along.

Please. Hillary "earned" her way into the Senate by moving to NY, one of the few states where the "D" next to her name outweighs any negatives, and getting put on the Senate ticket, to replace the immensely popular retiring Daniel Moynihan, based on internal DNC machinations rather than based on any experience at all in NY, for the purpose of running for President in a few years. She didn't earn jack in NY for sure, it was spoon-fed to her.

 

Yeah... but you're talking reality v perception. Even poor as HC's 'experience' cred is, it's still miles ahead of BO.*

That's the point. McCain's relative to Hillary may be just a few rungs up, but that's the hand we're dealt..

* I've read a few things in the last 24 hours that make me wonder about the bottom line of Barack's Chicago Annenberg Challenge stint.
IT MAY not be a coverup about favoritism and/or corruption and/or proximity to Bill Ayers... it MAY be that he didnt do ANYTHING there.

 

Come ON.. spencer. All McCain's has to do is wait on the Obama attacks and slash back.

Back to the entitlement issue, though. Now the PUMAs are complaining about it.. yet it was Hillary's sense of waiting to be coronated that got her behind the eight ball in the first place.
Not as stupid as Giuliani, perhaps... but if it werent for that Iowa caucus, Obama would have been an 'Also Ran'.

It's just like real life, though, ladies. I've had my career legs cut out by harder lobbying from wet-eared younger dumber know nothings.
Thing is.... I saw it coming, happening, and I didnt do a damn thing about it.

If you want to win, you gotta play the game. I can complain but better I look in the mirror to do it.

 

Wait and slash back? You've got to be kidding. The McCain campaign has been negative from the get-go because nobody is actually all that excited about McCain as a candidate; they're negative because that's the only thing they have to say.

 

Ever paid attention to a campaign before? The ONLY time you get to complain is if the attack is totally untrue. OTHERWISE you got to spin your response to the charge.
