I left the Stars out of the name 'cause I think it's a little silly. Anyway, they are playing this Saturday for the USL Division 2 Championship in Cleveland!!! I'm very excited to see a title match in my hometown! I hope all of you Cleveland area FUSA members are planning to come support the local club. Heck even those of you who dont live around here should fly in for the game; I'm sure you've always dreamed of a vacation in Cleveland. You can see the one and only Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before it's too late, before New York and Bloomberg hijack it. Come On City!!

Go Cleveland! I always liked Mark Schulte when he played for the Crew and enjoyed talking to him after some of the matches. Here's to hoping he can help bring a championship home to Cleveland.

And the Crew signed Adam Moffat (sp?) from Cleveland City at the end of last season. He helped them finish second in the league. Last time I checked he seemed to be doing well for ya.

    Come On City!

By the way, those of you with broken hearts because you cant fly or drive in for the game, it will be on FSC. So you got that going for you, which is nice.

I always wanted to go to Cleveland to see the Ohio River on fire, Mo, and this would have been a great opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone. But, alas, they cleaned up the river and my hopes are dashed. Perhaps another time. :(

Cleveland City Stars - USL Div 2 Champions!

Very entertaining match but there never was much doubt that Cleveland would walk away with the win. I went to the game and then caught some of it on FSC after I got home. I usually think soccer is so much more impressive in person but to my surprise, City's passing looked much better on TV. It must have been cause of where I was sitting.

Coog, the river (Cuyahoga is the name; REM wrote a song about it with the same name) is cleaned up but when you're downtown you can still occasionally get a whiff of something foul from an unknown source, I dont know what would happen if you were to light a match. Might be worth a trip.

Mo, does the corner of Short Vincent Street and 9th ring a bell with you?

    Congrats to the Stars!

It's about 6 blocks from Don's future destination -- the Rock Hall.

    Let's go Tim and Bob!
