Georgia a big empty space

    Plus you cant zoom in on Sat view anywhere near what you can on other regions. Maybe that's a 'feature'?

    Dunno about you, but I find that a bit disturbing. No matter who is at the bottom of it.

    My first thought is that the "ultimate owner" of the satellites that cover the region are using them for the purposes for which they were designed.

    You can zoom in a lot closer on Georgia than you can on some other countries - Norway, say, to pick one that I happened to have been looking at earlier today. Here's a waterfront neighborhood in the Black Sea port city of Batumi, for example. I couldn't tell you why there's no road name information, but there's also none in Armenia, or Azerbaijan, or either Korea.

    Hell, there's no road signs in rural Essex! The Brits took them down to confuse the Nazi's in case of invasion, and they never put most of them back up! This was the ONE seciton of GB that I was bound to get lost in as late as the early 90s.
