    Just decided to make deadline day it's own thread instead of the summer transfer thread. Thought it might make things easier from a reading perspective.

    Dempsey will get the old watch thread though.

    Word in the news is were aiming for 5 players by the end of the day.*

    *Not sure but that probably includes Berbatov, Dejagh, Richardson, and Odjidja-Ofoe. Who else? Noble?

    Ajax target Chris David leaves for Fulham. He is a small amount sold by FC Twente, because he was under contract for another season.

    Ajax wanted the midfielder Jong FC Twente also reportedly attracting, but never become concrete.

    No Dempsey replacement but still a solid signing for Fulham, although I've only seen him play for Ghana.

    Sorry, all Dempsey stuff will be moved to the Dempsey watch thread. This thread is for potential Fulham players coming in.

    Again sorry, I find it just makes life a little easier than having multiple similar posts in different threads.

    Edit: Also, each player will get their own thread once a bid has been confirmed as accepted by a reliable news source.

    Doesn't seem to be any more news on Gomis from Lyon. Hoping they can pull it off, seems like he's one of the next big players according to reports.
