I see Kenny has continued the English tradition of badge-kissing.

    Good on the lad.

The one speaker shouting one word to make the entire crowd shout another word -- all of this happening in Munich -- sounds so ... familiar some how.

it is nice to see him doing well. I hope he moves up to the Bundesliga 1 as that is by far one of my favorite Euro football leagues.

Alot of competitive attractive football clubs with cheaper ticket prices and killer vocal crowd support.

He's probably gonna get called up this round (and bump Casey, God willing). But, I can't see Cooper bringing anything new or different to the table than is already offered, thus I'd be surprised to see him find the bench in either match.

[That is, barring qualification has already been assured in Honduras - although, what is certain to happen in Honduras: burning vehicles and throngs of folks in the streets, and as always, groovy, easy and good times in CONCACAF qualifying).]

I agree, Nev. Moving sideways [or down?] from MLS to BL2 isn't a great way to increase your international chances.

Can't begrudge a player going to Europe and experience the life where 30k chant your name, a helluva lot better then the 300 that show up to a Dallas game. He probably got a raise, the training is better, and scoring in Germany won't hurt his chances. Remember, the coaches' kid plays there (albeit the league above) and the aforementioned Berhalter played in the Bund2 and it never hurt him. The main issue with Cooper not getting a chance, is that Bradley prefers having the "Diet Zamora" Ching around.

Promising move for Kenny and for Marriner. Let's hope it does them both some good. The CCC is a significant step up from BL2.

According to Yanks Abroad the loan to Plymouth is not a done deal.

Didn't realize he was only 25 (assumed he was 28/29). My daughter's Step Grandfather is a Plymouth fan that lives ten minutes from Pride Park half the year and he e-mailed me and asked what I thought of him. Not sure what to say in my reply yet except; 'don't expect him to do much (hope I'm wrong)'.

I think the biggest problem with Cooper is how he looks. He's the perfect size for a back to the goal, hard-ass centre forward, but he plays like an inside forward. He likes to go at the defense, and really isn't all that good at laying off and holding up.
