Guzan To Villa Rumors Abound

News that another deal for Guzan has been struck...all that's left is to obtain the work permit.

Well, this isn't a rumor any longer. And, at only 750K Pounds, this could be the best for value signing of any team in the Premier League this season. Best of luck to another Yank keeper!

MLS got jobbed...they should've tried to renegotiate his contract earlier so they could have gotten more money. of course, maybe they did and Guzan rejected any offers that came, but i hadn't heard anything about that. too bad for the League.

 

Well they at least got something for him. Had they held out he would have left on a free transfer in October. Either way its not a lot of money for a great keeper. I hope he does well.

Villa could have two American keepers named Brad before the season starts. I love the MLS.

 

I've always been of the opinion that Guzan is highly overrated but I must admit he's looked better recently. Nows a good time for him to move, I hope it works out.
