I was just about to post this link:

    http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsA ... tures.aspx

I'd wait a couple of days to book travel plans, though. Don't forget that the times and dates will change as Sky Sports and Setanta switch stuff around for max TV viewing -- most of the time to the detriment of the fans [remember the Man United away match moving to Monday night last year].

It's hard to take in that Hull are in the Premiership I know and as a gambling man I would have to have these as Firm favourites for the drop back down to the Championship.

Fulham have a hard start with back to back games against Arsenal and Man Utd but I'll take 4 points now.... :D

Nice that they gave us a winnable match to start the season rather than throwing us on the road against Big Four sides like the last couple of seasons.

    27 Sep -- v. West Ham
    4 Oct -- @ West Brom
    18 Oct -- v Sunderland

Most winnable stretch of games on the schedule, says I

    6 Dec -- v. Man Citeh
    13 Dec -- @ Stoke
    20 Dec -- v. Boro

A close second, depending on how things are going for City. I also realize Stoke will be tough.

28 Dec -- v. CSKA London?!? I have to factor Christmas travel plans into the equation ASAP!

I also made the mistake of going game by game down the list to see how many points I forecast us getting. I made it about 80 percent through the schedule and said forget this, no sense in turning my stomach into a puppy's used chew toy quite yet. Well. be fine, actually a little better than fine. Right Woy?

    Woy?

I'm thinking about a trip around Veterans Day (in order to use one fewer vacation day) to London and Berlin (to visit a friend there before he moves back to the States in January). Home against Newcastle and/or Spurs could be good entertainment. Good to know.

I wouldn't pencil in 3 points just yet. You never want to open up against the newly promoted squads because they're going to be amped up and give it 110%. Derby got one of their 5 points on opening day.

Don't be surprised if things dont go well up there.

I agree with Timmy. I think Hull (away), Arsenal and ManU looks like a tough way to start the season.

I would like the Hull start but for the fact this is their first match in the top flight. The emotion in that crowd will energize the players. I'd love to see Fulham come out early and kill that momentum as it would be a sign that we've improved in a way.

But I think we'll have to absorb some early and considerable pressure as Hull ride the crest of energy around the KC.

I'm not assuming anything about that Hull match, I'm just saying it's winNABLE. I know they'll have an emotional boost but I'd still rather have that than go to one of the Big Four again.

I also noticed that our first three games against the newly promoted teams are all on the road. I kind of like that. It will be nice to have those three home games against newly promoted teams during the second half of the season.

No doubt I'd rather get them than any of those clubs. But my preference would be to start with a second-10 club (Bolton, Blackburn, etc.) than with a complete Newbie like Hull. I remember when Bradford City reached the Premier League after decades out of the top flight. They played 'Boro in their first match at Valley Parade and beat them 1-0. Bradford weren't close to Middlesbrough. On any other day the visitors would've won the match soundly. But that particular opening day carried such emotion and appeal for fans and players alike that the team played above their ability.

This match against Hull will have that same kind of atmosphere. It will be a big test of Fulham's mettle.

All the games are tough and it will be another hard year for Fulham, no matter if we start off with Hull or Manchester United.

So no one crap themselves just yet.
