Wow! the first canning of the MLS season is in the metroplex:

I don't think it's so much that the Hoops gave up 5 goals to the Galaxy as it was that they could only score once on that Swiss-cheese defense.

    And so it goes.

I am a little bit surprised at this since Dallas is 2-3-3 and only 3 points back in the West. I watched Dallas a few times this season and the problem looked more like poor player execution than poor coaching to me. Unless whoever they hire can find a way to get Toja playing like he did last season or step in and play his position for him I just can't see this being a good move.

I wondered if you guys would be posting on this.

Can you believe it. Ok. I'll say this if someone has to take the fall for what this team is throwing out there recently, I guess it has to be the coach.

But I'll tell you what, I will be interested to see how the players respond. The head's been severed and now it's time to look at the body. No more business as usual and everyone (except Cooper) had better watch their backs.

A brief message for you guys in the hoops; from the top....

Alvarez - everyone knows you can score with your left...EVERYONE. How bout mixing in that other hoof on the starboard side.

Ricardinho - possibly the sorriest thing to come from Brazil since the Brazil nut. I'm tired of hearing he's still young....how about loserinho?

Coop- hang in there, we'll try to get another Ruiz to offer a little help

    Daniels - come on

Davino - wherever we keep getting you and all the other Denilson's et al, please gimme a break

Rocha - time to step to the front

Dax - we need you buddy. get your gold and get back here

Moor - you break my heart with some of your mistakes but I love ya brother, keep on keepin on

Oduro - there's got to be more to your story than "look how fast he goes"

Pitchkolan - step to the front or step aside

Rhine - your still the man (see Moor)

Ritchetti - you don't have to be Maradona or Messi but be somebody

Saragosa - you and Rocha both from Brazil, both on the same bus unless you step it up

    Serioux - seriously???

Shea - there may be a place at the table soon

    Thompson - gimme somethin, somethin

Toja - your not Samson but grow it back if that's what it takes

Wagenfuhr - Could use your experience right about now

baby Wags - time to sit at the big table youngster

Wallace - to say you need some more seasoning is to say that gumbo needs a couple extra ingredients

    on to the whites

I watched the newly appointed interim head coach Marco Ferruzzi play for the Minnesota Thunder many a time a few years back. Good for him getting that gig even if it is only interim.

I think it was 1940s-1950s Spurs legend Danny Blanchflower who wrote a book about his football career and included a chapter entitled: What the average Chairman or board member knows about football.

    The chapter was blank.

Not to get off topic, but really - when seattle joins the league, MLS better go to a single table. This east west thing is stupid, confusing, and makes for boring games when you realize they are pointless.

I agree about the single table and I don't see how east and west really plays into playoffs (haha pun not intended). Just take the top 8 teams if you're going to do that. At the bottom they have to come up with something to make those games mean something..........

On to the sacking............ Its not very logical to me
