Would be great, but thinking about it maybe he is content to just collect a paycheck. Would think there would be grumbles in the papers if he wanted first team football.

Also, with RVP ManU is set up front. Not looking forward to Rooney and him up top. Will be a goal fest.

Which begs the question where will Arsenal fall without his 20+ goals? I think they still are in the top 10 but I doubt they are in the top six.

No, here is what will happen.

Arsenal will use the money to buy Dempsey; Fulham will use that money to buy Jordan Rhodes. Everybody wins.

I would love to have Berbatov, but he would have to cut back his wages big time. He doesn't come across as the kind of guy to do that.

He needs somebody to do his running for him. If he doesn't have a Keane, he's just a lazy git with great finishing skills.

Been thinking that with just about every move Sir Alex has made or not made. Would love the Berb!

As far as the RVP move - ManUre, Arses, is there really any difference?

Even without Van Persie, Arsenal's still a Champions League contender- they'll be 4th or 5th. The only real good thing about this move is that someone has probably created a meme saying "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DESTROY MAN U, NOT JOIN THEM!". So now Man U has Van Persie, Rooney, Chicarito, Welbeck and Berbatov as their options up front. Wankers.
