As of yesterday I am one semester closer to being the newest special education teacher in Ohio. Even better, I'm done with the worst class in the curriculum -- research methods and sadistics in education. Oops, I meant statistics. It's a brutal class, I am glad I'm done with it.

The next semester starts a week from Monday. Hope there's room for one more tee-chur on the boards.

    Contrats Steve!

Hey, maybe you can put those new found statistics skills to some footie use, and let us know what the probability of avoiding relegation currently is..... I'm convinced it is 100%. :)

Steve, good on yer. Every district needs more men in Special Ed.

Oh, and statistics and methods sucks in any post-graduate discipline, but it's critical. Good thinking to get it out of the way first of all.

That was my thinking -- as soon as I saw that class on the curriculum, I cursed a few times and signed up for it. At least I won't have to look at chi square and pearson's r for a while.

Make sure and look for a job here in Shaker Heights because they pay a lot and they will fall all over themselves for a male special ed teacher. Good luck with that last semester

Big paychecks? Me? That sounds almost as good as Fulham 1 Portsmouth nil!! (I'm too happy to be rational)

well dont want to get your hopes up since terms like "a lot" are subjective, but at Shane's K-4 elementary school the average teacher salary is over $70,000. I dont think that's too shabby.
