I know that a lot of you have expressed a bit of disdain for FSC's EPL archive matches, but they're featuring one this week that's worth your time.

Check out your Tivo/DVR for "2002/2003 Tottenham v. Everton" for a Jan 12, 2003 match on Fox Soccer Channel. Like all "archives" it's a 30 minute highlight reel.

Not only does the match feature current Cottagers Kasey Keller and Simon Davies for Spurs, but it also features [extensively] former Cottager Tomasz Radzinski for Everton -- who also had retired Cottager Mark Pembridge on the bench.

But the match is of historic significance because it was the EPL debut of one Brian McBride, playing for Everton due to a suspension by a young striker named Wayne Rooney. I remember watching the match on FSC "live" but a lot of you are new to Fulham, and it should be fun for you to watch a younger SuperMac in action.

Anyhow, check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for the tip, HD. Generally, I enjoy watching these matches and have a DVR season pass set.

Lately, it seems FSC airs, over and over, the same Spurs v. Man Utd match from the early 2000s

Will definitely tape it. It's hit or miss, not sure what genius thought Blackburn thumping Nottingham Forest 7-0 was a "classic".

I got a kick out of watching Man United embarrass Ipswich 9-0 from 1995 when it was on. Frank Yallop was on the back line for Ipswich that day, that's some good information to use for harassment purposes when the 'Quakes come to town.
