I wouldn't bet the house on this transfer. Bradley is linked with Roma because it has new American owners -- the same as Fulham is linked with anyone Dutch or anyone who has played in the Eredivisie. Lazy journalism.

Don, I wouldn't bet the house against this happening. This deal will most likely happen, it's not just lazy journalism. It may not be the best move for Bradley, because a starting spot is far from certain. I hope it wouldn't be another Gooch situation.

But they're still working out the details, so the deal can still fall apart.

It now sounds like a deal has been worked out and they're now just down finalizing the paperwork.

Crossing my fingers on him getting playing time. It would be great if he got the playing time with such a team in Italy.

Should be a good summer for him. Wrigley, Fenway and back near home in Red Bull Arena...PLUS a little coin in his Kappa's. Yes, a good summer indeed.

I hope he does. Btw...not a bad way to get some shameless PR and jersey sales for their club while their in the states. If they're smart, they'll play the American at every venue since these are just friendlies. Of course, if I had a nickel for every time I was on the wrong side of an "if they're smart" fiat, I'd have a little more coin in MY kappas as well.

I just hope he doesn't ride the pine most of the season. He's too good for that.

Ha! And Bradley was right there, no?

I've sworn an allegiance of sorts to INTER, but I have a strong like for ROMA, their club, their players.

I hate Roma, that's all I have to say. Michael Bradley, good luck in hell. If Clint goes to Liverpool, same to him. I wont be concerned with their fortunes at the rancid clubs they have decided to make home.

Not sure I take as much a hard line as Mo on this one but I do love your use of the descriptor "rancid".

Just getting it out of my system. I cant believe two of my favorite players are going to my two most hated teams. I believe "rancid" best describes Liverpool, "cheats" is more appropriate for Roma, but the "hell" I associate with Roma is their violent, knife wielding fans.

Thankfully Roma was playing Liverpool at Fenway. Those are about the only circumstances under which I could take joy in Bradley and Roma's success.
