    Here are a few pics I took last night outside of Philips Arena and inside CNN Center before the Thrashers game. There are thousands of pics posted on Flickr of damage to the surrounding neighborhoods. I know many people who live in these affected areas (Cabbagetown, East Atlanta, Grant Park, Old Fourth Ward, etc.)...scary, sobering stuff:

    scary indeed. I know that area well, and those pictures are spooky first thing in the morning.
