Even if we would have deserved to win the Rovers'game, today I can't find out many positives, mates.
With Roy Hodgson we have lightly improved our style of play (at least we haven't seen anymore displayed the boring, unwatchable, long-balls tactics) but we haven't earned the points that we would need.
Unfortunately, Sanchez has got rid of our favourite, committed, players (like Liam Rosenior), bringing in the team less than average substitutes; only a miracle could keep us in Premier, now.

But my point is that, even if the hopes are nearly to an end, the Italian Cottagers keep the faith and continue to back the team (and also they will in the event of of relegation). Our members do organize trips to the Cottage on monthly basis, and we will be present also for the next games: http://italiancottagers.forumfree.net/? ... t#lastpost

Fulham wouldn't be in any different place if Liam Rosenior was still with the team. He hasn't even worked his way into Reading's starting 11 yet.

I haven't said that he is Maradona. But he is a local kid, committed to the club. It was only an example of how Sanchez destroyed the team buying less than average players.

Rosenior started for Reading the last two games (both victories). It's especially significant considering their captain, Murty, is a right back and lost his place to Liam.

I agree about Sanchez buying mediocre players, but Rosenior is an average player at best. Most Fulham fans seemed to like him because his dad had played at Fulham and because he's young. I'm not sure he's a local kid though. Fulham bought him from Bristol City or Bristol Rovers.

Sanchez bought stupid, yes; but Rosenior wouldn't have helped Fulham's cause much.
