Do NOT install IE8 !!!!

    Note: For those of you unfamiliar with the term this refers to a preliminary version of Internet Explorer ver 8, which is released for user testing purposes. It doesnt work all that well, apparently. AND it overwrites all your 'favorites and 'use withs/go to' with MS links.

    If you ARE a beta tester, it looks like you'd better keep an install version of IE 7 handy, if you're not.. you should not even attempt to run this version.

    thanks for this, 'fog.

    For those of you who, like me, prefer to let someone else have all the "thrills" of unintentional product testing, our IT department has only just this month installed ie7 on our assets.

    And that is exactly how a 'responsible' IT dept handles it.
