This article is incredible; the title is enough to make you choke on your granola bar:

Here's a taste of what I meant in the subject line:

'When you get sacked, reflection is a difficult scenario. The one thing you have to evaluate first and foremost is how much of it was your fault,' he told The People.
'I think you can accept it a lot more if you can come to terms with the fact that a good percentage of it was your fault - but that doesn't apply to me at Newcastle.'

Of course not, Sam; now take your meds.

    Holy Crap!

What a prime example of a bullshit artist! Note he says all the right things, then just goes on to refute them. Reminds me of a few bosses and execs I've dealt with.

    Or most politicians.

Here's a hint, Sam... you're hired for a job, it's up to you to best utilize available resources. Or discern that ownership is bullshitting you into a corner, in the first place.

All my personal job failures are due to a lack of doing just that.

PS: 'granola bar'?!!!! Have you READ the ingredients list on those? Unless you have some special source...
.. take it from me, bub. Bacon, eggs and real-buttered whole wheat toast is healthier.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume what he meant to say was not nearly as ridiculous as what the media reported it to be.

Nearly pissed my pants laughing at the title, admittedly.

Always count on the Geordies for a good laugh and/or drama...

Not sure who is more delusional...Big Sam saying Newcastle wasn't big enough for him (Big Fella you were coaching at Bolton not Barcelona) or LS who has now come out saying he considers himself a "premier league manager".

Fair enough that he was hurt bad by key injuries but the ship he was sailing would have led Fulham to ports in Plymouth and Wednesday.

it's an amazing thing. The "which is more delusional" question is closer than the other riveting question "who is going to win 8-16 states against McCain in November."

LS is not only delusional, he's a major league asshole. If anybody has a bitch it's Coleman. He was clear of the relegation zone when he got fired after the first poor run the side had had in his entire tenure.

    Amazing.
