I know it's early, but what the hell, I wanna stay positive. Amidst the flurry of transfer activity, I am as excited for next Tuesday as I have been in a while. No lineup predictions or total scores (I'm not worth a damn at it anyway), just give us a competitive squad for 90+3...and a win, yes, I believe that would do quite nicely. That, and Bullard scores at the Reebok to echos of "Jimmy Bullard, Bullard, he's faster than Steven Gerrard, and thinner than Frank Lampard, Jimmy Bullard, Bullard!!!..."

We need this win so badly. I have no clue what the lineup will be or who will even be on the team by then. If we could get a big win at the Reebok against one of the teams we need to catch, it will be huge for our chances of staying up. I was just on fox soccer channel's website and it looks like the game is going to be aired but on a delay at 5 pm EST.

I predict Fulham will suck horribly, give up a really bad goal, yet still manage to win, 2-1.

Either that or my liver may give out.

I like your optimism. It's nicely balanced with your fatalism.

That has got to be my favorite player song ever!

And I love the overwhelmingly optimistic attitude of these posts on this thread...you all make me feel right at home, me being a huge Cubs fan and all!

It is sort of like a having little slice of Wrigley during the cold months isn't it.

Very much so. I can shave another 10 years off my life to go with the 10 the Cubs have already taken.

i'm with you don. why try to predict? In the end, I just hope for a win. I don't care how or who does it, just want the win.

    love it; Josh; love it!

This just in; FSC is doing the match on a tape-delayed basis on Tuesday -- 4 o'clock central.

Predicting this one is too tough, and too far away. We do need this win, since a loss will just show why we should be relegated. Coca-Cola, anyone?

If FFC are to stay up, these are the types of away matches that should be won - especially with Anelka gone from Bolton.

Think its very important to get the new blood in there and shake things up

Hey lads, its good to see some signs of positivity in these dark days. There are 15 games left and I think this game on Tuesday is as big as it gets with Bolton only a few spots above us.

Does anyone plan on being at Nevada Smith's on Tuesday for the game at 5?

We've NEVER WON this far away from home!

Wish I could but I'll still be at work. I do plan to be there for the Villa game next Saturday though, I think I saw that it'll be on TV.

    My lineup suggestion:

    Niemi
    Volz - Hangeland - Stefanovic - Konchesky
    Andreasen
    Davies - Bullard - Davis - Dempsey
    Healy

    Keller, Bocanegra, Hughes, Murphy, Johnson

As long as we're short on forwards, and have a lot of attacking midfielders, why not take advantage of that? So I say 4-1-4-1.

I cant stand the pressure; they have to win. At least at 5pm I can have a beer while I watch.

Is Keller close to coming back? They could really use him right now.

Keller played the full 90 for the Reserves earlier this week. I based my lineup on him being fit enough to be a sub if need be, but not fit enough to start.

Well I can't take it...I'm off to Bolton on Tuesday (taking a half day at work) because I feel if I don't go, I am helpless and the boys need our support as much as possible.

With that said, this game is the official start of Roy...
