    This is a great addition.

Can't wait to see him in a Fulham shirt.

6ft 5.. Thank god we will have an established tall CB. Oh how long have we been waiting for this. Now lets sort out the wings.

He also increases the American count as he was born in Houston, Texas.

I dont know anything about Hangeland so it's only natureal to ask. If he's so good why doesnt he play for the US. When he was playing for Norway the US did beat them 5-0.

His parents are Norwegian and he was raised there. He came up through their youth system.

He has dual citizenship, but I'm sure he considers himself to be Norwegian.

As for more on him, he's a strong imposing center back (6 foot 5) who has Champions League experience. To be honest, I'm a little shocked he agreed to come to Fulham when considering the types of teams that were chasing him in the summer. He played for Hodgson before though.

Having said all that, the Danish league isn't exactly a top flight league. It probably ranks at or somewhat below the MLS.

Hope he's a right-footer. We're short of those in defense.

He is def. what we needed. I hope we can get just one more, maybe a LB. I guess we can count him as American lol. What is he the 6th and if EJ comes in there will be 7? Good lord, TEAM AMERICA!

I'm impressed by how overwhelmingly positive people's comments about him are. Sounds like a great pickup by Roy.

Don, as a huge fan of the Superliga and FCK I can reassure you that it is better than MLS - if only slightly. FCK often vie for qualifying for the Champions League, but get tough draws each year. It was awesome to be in Copenhagen last fall when they upset Ajax and qualified for the group stages for the first time ever.

    I like this signing!

Unfortunately, the big guy signed too late to be eligible tomorrow.

FoxSoccer.com is reporting the fee was in the area of 3.5 million pounds. Not bad for a defender we have needed for the last three seasons.

So will King be able to play? That is kind of a big deal. Imagine my Avatar saying that.
