No, not like the guy who supposedly strapped a rocket to his chevy..

Real ones that show how embarrassingly stupid people are when their little domains and belief systems are threatened.

    First in Elliot Spitzer's kingdom

    and in Guvmint Eddicashun

Isn't "Darwin Awards" copyrighted and a real annual event? Nevermind.

NY Post and London Daily Mail op-ed pieces shouldn't be cited as anything other than examples that stuffy right wingers have their low-brow crap newspapers, too. I'll admit to not reading the entirety of the latter article, as its top-drawer journalism couldn't distract me from the probing journalism in the adjacent article about how Lindsay Lohan kissed three men in 24 hours.

What a piker! When I was doing theater, I kissed a half-dozen women on a slow night. This underachieving generation, I swear.

So you're saying those articles are bogus? Is that the point?

What .. do you only trust what you read in the guardian?

Stop defending the meme by attacking the source and address the issue... or does that make you queasy?

No, I'm sure the facts in the articles are accurate. What I'm saying is that the articles are inconsequential and don't equate to an indictment of anything.

    Let's address the issue; fine.

    1. The issue in the first article seems to be that people who are in charge of investigating government wrongdoing can never take a vacation during the holidays, nor are they ever allowed to get a pay raise. I disagree.

    2. The issue in the second article is, well, it seems kind of unclear. Does the right-wing now disagree that having boys act like boys is bad? Actually, the issue in the second article was kind of obscured by Lindsay Lohan's terrible low score on the "night-out-osculation" thing. I blame the Clintons.

    Moving right along.

No,, addressing the second.. the 'enlightened Liberal establishment' has been of the mind that anything that is seen as threatening by one is threatening to all and must be supressed. This is NOT a 'conservative' opinion.
    Am I wrong in that?

On the first... what if this was a Republican governor being investigated? Seriously.

seriously? Yes, I think a vacation over the holidays is certainly called for. And yes, even people who investigate Democrats are allowed to get pay raises.

Smokin' thanks for your support :3d smile:
