I think most of us HOPE, while speculating on the existence of a Heaven and Hell, that there is a special Hell for 'negligence lawyers'.

The perfect example is the Atty for the Florida policewoman who slipped and injured herself while answering a 911 call to the home of a drowning victim.

This genius encouraged the Officer to protect her livelihood and income by suing the homeowners for failing to mop and dry the floor, so as to prevent a slipping hazard, while the child was in danger of dying.

And his advice got his client FIRED. Sorry for her for taking the schmuck's advice.. NOT sorry she got fired for having poor and self-centered judgement.

I think most of us look on these lawyers as a necessary evil... just too bad we see the 'EVIL' side as often as we see 'necessary'.

Of course some of us may get a 'warm and fuzzy' when we see in the Lawyers' TV ads, that it's NOT REALLY necessary to have actually been bitten by the neighbor's dog to sue them. You go to hell, too...please.
