hello from Queens

So glad I found this site, I felt like the only Fulham supporter in NY. Now I see I have lot's of company. Do a lot of NY fans go to Nev. Smiths for games? I stick around Queens to watch but may make the trip on a Saturday.

I have been a fan for years (since McBride moved there) and have become attached to the team. Good to know there are more fans out there and I am dying to take a trip to Craven Cottage (never been). Hope everyone is well.

Welcome to the site Lobber and you'll find plenty of other NY'ers and even Queens residents as well...just look up RDG and others...you're not alone.

Yeah, in the pre-FUSA days, I would try to watch matches in Sunnyside and found a grand total of ONE FFC fan. Unfortunately, he was against the rule and a real jerk. The lads who meet up at Nevada's are a good bunch; I would be there tomorrow morning to watch the USA friendly, but have to remain totally sober for my aged parental unit, with whom I am dealing at mid-day.

Oh, I'm based in Rego Park, though I can usually be found in Woodside at noon on baseball season Sundays.

When are you planning on making a trip to Craven Cottage?

Thanks for the welcome everyone ... and congrats to the US team for the win today (not the prettiest but a win nonetheless).

I would love to get to Craven Cottage sometime next year, but considering the weak dollar and of course my weak accumulation of dollars, it probably won't happen. But one never knows.
