    Adn no, I aint just saying that because Dennis K believes he's seen a UFO. I believe there are, too.

"We're focused on redeploying our troops out of Iraq, covering 10 million uninsured children and meeting our national priorities long neglected by the Bush administration," said Pelosi aide Nasheam Elshami.

    So, obviously, "House Dems" aren't taking this seriously. But they are taking seriously what you don't post about.

    Besides, everybody knows that even if Cheney were in the Executive Branch [my favorite bit of surrealism from this Salvador Dali administration], you can't impeach anyone unless a blowjob is involved. And I don't think even Larry Craig is interested in going that route.

    Okay Dennis you bloomin' idiot, what about the fact that the Constitution gives the responsibility to declare war to Congress and not to the Executive branch. Lets just all continue to ignore that fact so our members of Congress can continue to shirk their sworn duty and play politics.

    Yes... Don. Big willy was impeached for getting a 'blowjob'.. sigh! Facts dont matter, only the perception.

    And, btw, the idea that Congress must okay a military action is WRONG. It IS within the Executive parvue... and HAS BEEN.

    Bwahahahahahah! This just in. Evidently House GOP have had enough of this bullshit. They reversed on vote to table the resolution of impeachment.

    That means it goes to debate.

    I bet Pelosi's peeing her pants!

    UPDATE: aww.. crap! All the vote accomplished was to send it to committee, and since the Dems will never let it out of there, it's a dead duck.

    Backstory: ONE of the aims of the GOP was to make the Dems listen to Dennis the Menace for the entire hour alloted. That would have been good.

    But STRANGELY, one of the Reps' voting thingys 'accidently' fell into a crease in some furniture. Why they couldnt make him keep on speaking, I dont know... but it took almost the whole hour to get it out.


    Update 2: But if you thought DK had the stupidest F234g idea of the day, you'd be wrong. WAY wrong!

    And Don... just another little jab from me.

    I want to know if ALL of you will write your Senators and Congressmen to demand a new post-officeholding procedure, to wit:

    Set up a quasi-impeachment hearing for both Bush and Cheney to commence in the summer of 2009. The enquery being on the impetus of the Iraq war.

    Sadly, that would be AFTER the 08 elections.. but it would be a good thing.
