Greetings from Vermont

I've been a member for a while, but have never posted. I'm hoping to hook up with some other fans in Vermont, but I'm not sure there are any!

I've been a fan since they signed McBride, and all the other Americans they've signed have just made it better. I've been to Craven Cottage once (a loss ), but still a great time.

Hi myaeger, welcome, sorry you saw us lose, unfortunatly it is something we do with regularity! Which game was it?

 

It was a 1-0 loss to Reading around Thanksgiving of 2006. We got stuck in the tube on the way to the game (it just stopped at a station for like 30 minutes while all the fans in the car were freaking out because we were missing the game). By the time we got there, they had given up a penalty and that was the only goal of the game. Convey was injured, but Hahnemann was playing, McBride had some great chances, and Bocanegra came on as a 2nd half sub.

 

The tube shows its age all too often. It was not a good performance by Fulham. I hope that next time you come to the cottage you get a better result. Once again, welcome.

What part of Vermont are you from? Although I am here in NYC, my wife has family in Montpelier/Barre and she gets up there every few months.
